The Pavilion proudly exhibits the impressive achievements of 20 digital entertainment companies from Hong Kong, aiming to promote their innovative solutions to international buyers and potential partners. Moreover, it offers an opportunity to explore new avenues for collaboration and business opportunities, particularly as these companies emerge from the challenges posed by the pandemic.Event Details

Showcasing how Generative AI is prevailing in next-generation art, design and media. Participants will learn about Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and explore existing platforms for Generative AI in art, design and media.Event Details

Trainer: Mr Marco Ho, Founder & Digital Strategist, DxLab Digital
Over 15 years of training experiences and 20+ years in the design and digital marketing industry. Mr. Ho is committed in upskilling the next generation in preparing them for the future workforce.
He has extensive experience in the UXUI design industry, and has worked with many brands and projects in the past. Some noticeable projects include Microsoft’s portal website msn.com, Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Law Society of Hong Kong, L’Oréal, Shanghai Commercial Bank, ICBC, Seibu, Etrade, and much more.
Furthermore, Marco has accumulated many years of teaching experience in the tertiary education level. He is currently teaching at:

Trainer: Dr. William Lai, Assistant Professor Programme Leader of BA (Hons) in New Music and Interactive Entertainment Department of Creative Arts School of Arts and Social Sciences Hong Kong Metropolitan University
Dr. William Lai, Chi-Fu is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Creative Arts under the School of Arts and Social Science in the Hong Kong Metropolitian University (HKMU). Before joining the HKMU, he was a Chief Scientist in the industry leading research projects on Computer Graphics and Vision applications on Geographic Information System and Building Information Modeling. He was a visiting scientist at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. He received his B.Eng. in Computer Science (Minor in Mathematics) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

Trainer: Mr. Eddy Hui, Vice Chairman, Hong Kong Designers Association
Eddy is one of the early adopters of interactive design, UI/UX, motion graphics and digital animation in Hong Kong, Eddy has been working in the advertising and media industry for more than 20 years and his own artworks have been exhibited in different countries He was the Group/Executive Creative Director in different local and global design companies and focused on the integration of new media into corporate identity, clients include IBM, AIA, CSL, Visa, HP, Hong Kong Jockey Club, Monetary Authority, Tai Kwun, New World, SOGO, etc. To nurture young talents, he serves in different universities as External Examiner, advisors and visiting scholar, as well as different mentorship programmes and vetting panels He was also the Head of Design Department, Associate Professor and Programme Leader in different institutes for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Workshop Outline:
- Gain insights into the latest developments in the field of generative AI and AI art
- Explore the potential applications of these technologies in art, design, and media
- Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in their respective fields
- Create their own AI art using existing Generative AI platforms by creating prompts, setting keywords and parameters
